Pro Health Connect Plan: Checking Your Insurance Eligibility
We are pleased to announce that Hallers Pharmacy is now an approved retailer for the Pro Health Connect (PHC) Plan, allowing you to use your Over-the-Counter (OTC), Healthy Grocery, and other supplemental allowances right here in our store.
Pro Health Connect simplifies the process, but your eligibility is determined solely by your insurance provider. You do not need to enroll at Hallers Pharmacy to use your benefits.
How to Confirm Your Eligibility and Benefit Balance
Your access to these benefits comes directly from your health plan. To confirm if you have an active allowance and to check your current balance, please follow these steps:
- Check Your Benefit Card: Look for a contact number on the back of your insurance-funded benefit card (sometimes labeled as Flex, Wellness, or OTC Card). This number connects you directly to your plan administrator.
- Review Plan Documents: Consult your official plan materials, such as your Evidence of Coverage (EOC) document, or visit your health plan's official member portal online.
- Contact Your Health Plan: Call the main Member Services phone number for your specific insurance provider. They can verify if your current plan includes OTC, Healthy Grocery, or other allowances that are processed through Pro Health Connect.
Important Notes
- We Do Not Determine Eligibility: Hallers Pharmacy staff cannot manually look up your eligibility or balance. Your benefit is electronic, and our Pro Health Connect system automatically verifies it when you check out.
- No Application Needed: You do not need to apply for these benefits at our pharmacy. They are loaded onto your card automatically by your insurance plan.
- How It Works at Checkout: When you shop at Hallers Pharmacy, simply present your benefit card (or digital barcode). The Pro Health Connect system will instantly:
- Verify your eligibility and available balance.
- Determine which specific items in your cart are covered.
- Apply the benefit funds to your purchase.
